A tilting pan is a professional kitchen appliance primarily used in commercial kitchens and catering operations. It uses contact heat and can boil, fry, simmer, or even braise food. It is for preparing large quantities of food. The cooking system can be tilted, e.g., to empty food easily and efficiently into containers.

The RATIONAL iVario is perfect for preparing a variety of dishes, such as meat, seafood, vegetables, stews, or sauces. It is suitable for both searing and slow cooking or boiling. fried dishes, such as omelettes or rice-based meals, can also be efficiently prepared in a tilting pan.

It is especially for preparing dairy-based dishes. Thanks to the powerful iVarioBoost heating system, food no longer burns, and the cooking system notifies you when it's ready—no supervision required.

Cooktops, pots, pans, fryers, pressure cookers, and bain-maries—combined in one: the iVario enables cooking, roasting, and frying up to 4 times faster, with up to 40% lower energy consumption.
