The RATIONAL iVario is for cooking multiple dishes such as meat, seafood, vegetables, stews, or sauces. It is suitable for sautéing, slow cooking, and boiling. Typical fried dishes like omelets or rice-based meals can also be efficiently prepared in the tilting pan. It is especially suitable for dairy-based dishes, where, thanks to the powerful iVarioBoost heating system, food no longer burns and the cooking system notifies you when the meal is ready—without supervision.
The tilting pan is a professional kitchen appliance primarily used in commercial kitchens and catering companies. It employs contact heat and is capable of boiling, frying, simmering, or even stewing large quantities of food. The cooking system can tilt, for example, to pour out food efficiently for easy transfer into containers.
Ranges, pots, pans, fryers, pressure cookers, and bain-maries are all combined in one device—the iVario—allowing cooking, baking, and frying up to 4 times faster with up to 40% lower energy consumption. Thus, the iVario Pro replaces many conventional kitchen appliances. Each dish is prepared individually and with high quality.

Pressure Cooking:
With the Pressure Cooking option, faster and simultaneously gentle cooking of various dishes becomes possible. uniform pressure is ensured, protecting the cellular structure of the food. It is a safe system that requires no maintenance. Maximum overpressure: 300 mbar.
Ethernet Port:
With the built-in Ethernet port, the cooking system can be connected to an existing network, for example, for connection to ConnectedCooking or for exporting HACCP data.
*SOLAS Connection Preparation (Safety of Life at Sea) – Marine Version:
The cooking system includes an additional safety temperature limiter and can be connected to an external 230V signal device (max. 8A, not included in delivery). In this case, the respective connection terminals are pre-assembled and allow: indication of device power activation, indication of oil overheating, and shutdown by an external emergency shutdown device (device not included in the delivery). A potential-free contact is integrated, and no additional order is required.
